Sweet Potato Gnocchi

For days I had been thinking about making sweet potatoes gnocchis. Last Saturday I invited some friends for dinner, so I had an excuse to cook my gnocchis for the 1st time. I have to confess that I do not like to cook for other people and I am not good at inviting people over to my place, but one of my 2014 resolutions is to have more fiends over.

Let’s do it!

What you need?
- 1 Sweet potato
- 1 cup of Parmesan cheese
- 400 gr of flour and 100gr of oats
1 Egg

Let’s start this:
1. Cook the sweet potato, add a little bit of salt to give flavour.
2. When the potatoes are soft mashed well.
3. When the potatoes are tender, mix it with the Parmesan cheese, egg and flour. It must be like dough.

4. Roll the dough and cut the gnocchis.
3. Put them in boiling water. When they are floating, they are ready.

NOTE: Do not trough the water, we will use it later for the souse...

For this occasion I am going to do a light bacon and mushroom sauce

What do you need:
- Bacon
- Mushroom
- Fresh cream
- The water where you cooked the gnocchi.

Let's start!

In a pan, fry the bacon and mushrooms
Add one cup of the gnocchi water and half cup of fresh cream
Add salt and paper as much as much as you wish. Let the sauce reduce until it get thickens
If you like a much strong flavours add basil and lemon at the end.

Enjoy!

Chocolate: a craving excusable...

Biting a Chocolate Bar is like walking up to heaven and down to hell... The delicate sweetness of the chocolate melt slowly in your mouth and your tongue feels an explosion of flavours: cacao, vanilla, coffee, milk, sugar and water, which makes a party in the deepest place in your little mouth. Quickly your lips collapse, then they kiss each other, enjoying the love that your tongue is making with the night-walker, sexy, exotic, dark and seductive Chocolate Bar.

Your throat wants to feel the passion of the Chocolate too... Your throat would like to try the poisonous taste of the Chocolate. Your throat wishes to feel, bit by bit, the Chocolate dance. Slowly, the Chocolate is swimming into your throat and the sweetness flavours go deep stroking your neck. Now you feel immersed in a sea of pleasure, unrestrained blood runs through your entire body, experiencing the pleasure of being alive and giving thanks for the opportunity to taste that little black bar called Chocolate!

Now your brain is rambling into the sky. Your brain starts to feel the pleasure of the Xanthine, which is like caffeine... Your brain is excited and wants more!!! The rapid effect of amphetamines causes your brain to release endorphins to your brain coronal, giving a little more pleasure to your body. After that, your body feels great and is ready to start again!

Your lips are smiling like the grin of a loving couple who just dipped their deepest passions between the sheets of a bed, where the love was bubbling for a few minutes, seconds or hours... The Chocolate Bar is over!! Now you have to find the divine taste of cacao in another gypsy night-walk into the Chocolate Box, maybe another colleague wants to make you happy again... Now you know how a Chocoholic can die for just a piece of a sweet chocolate and every day he or she is grateful to the Aztec for sharing this lovely pleasure with the world.
